Woke up at 8am and I couldn’t wait to start my day and I was so excited of going to Universal Studio Singapore for just SGD58. It was cheaper than it should. Hahah...All thanks to my girl....
My darling girl said 9am meet at my hostel. Hmm....so I just grabbed two slices of toasted bread provided by the hostel and waited her anxiously. We were headed to Vivocity by MRT and took our lunch over there too.
I ordered Beef Noodle but please take my advice. DO NOT ORDER BEEF NOODLE from this stall (see below). Not delicious at all.
After lunch, we bought Sentosa Express tickets for SGD3/person(if I am not mistaken) to Waterfront Station whereby Universal Studio located.
Whheeeee....on the way........
ARRIVED......can't wait to go to studio.....
Let's take a look of the BIG GLOBE.... :P

Have you seen woodpecker soft toys? I think they were cute... hehe

Betty Boop ^_^ Hulk...was sweating a lot....hahahhaa It was so much of fun in the studio and I think I should stop for keep on posting photos hahaha.
Around 9.45pm, my god-sis, Steph took taxi (:S) and met me at Bugis Mcd and brought me to Bugis Street. Unfortunately, most of the lil's shops were closed at 10pm. So, we just did shops in a bit and went for dessert. (Again) hahaha.... After that, she took taxi back (owwhh make me feel sorry for her to take taxi just to meet me :S ). I totally knocked off at 12am. It was a tiring day.

Singapore Day 1
I always wish to go to Universal Studio and the nearest studio for me is Singapore. After some discussions with my 'twin sister' in Singapore, I bought my tickets 2 months before my departure date. It only cost me RM116(depart) by Tigerairways & RM175 (return) by Jetstar. Genie went to airport and meet me up. Thank you my darling girl for waking up so early.
So, where should I stay during my short trip? After some surveys, I decided to stay at Tree In Lodge. Why? SGD58!! only~!! for 2 nights in female dorm(6 bunk beds) with curtain for privacy, socket & light for every bed. Where can we find such a cheap accommodation in Singapore? Ya, it was a hostel. So? Not like we are going to stay in hotel for 24 hours, just for a sleep. I don't mind at all to stay in hostel.
They provided BASIC breakfast like bread, margarine, cereal(cornflakes), milk, coffee. Don't expect anything more than that. It was actually very good to have this basic breakfast. See the picture below for common room a.k.a living room a.k.a kitchen a.k.a reception a.k.a computer room too. ^_^
NOTE: Please bring your own padlock for the locker or else you need to purchase from the counter SGD2 unless you don't have to lock your belongings :P After check in at 2pm, my lil' darling girl brought me to have "koay chiap" as lunch and proceeded to a perfume shop. I bought DKNY green apple for only around SGD65? Ok, I can't remember the exact amount. Doesn't matter because I was looking forward for my Chinese New Year dragon bears. She brought me to Chinatown. Look the picture below.. All about RED RED RED.... And I just like those dragon plush toys....cutie... :P After an hour at Chinatown, it's time for dinner. Darling girl brought me to her work place. Nice restaurant, nice food & nice people too. There she goes again~~ :P addicted to "slashing" her phone :P If you are going to SG, don't forget Clarke Quay. Very happening place filled up with restaurants, bistros, pubs, souvenir shops & you might want to do some activities like G-max reverse bungee, river cruise, etc. And don't miss out the Turkish ice cream. Finally before we called it a day, we went to dessert shop next lane of my hostel. Almond Paste (SGD2.10-small) Mango Sago (SGD3.70) Water chestnut with herbal jelly (SGD3.80)

Lovely Island Day 2 & 3
Wakey wokey at 9am and went down to the cafe for free breakfast. We had planned for mangrove tour.Yippie~~ My first time ever. We reached there at 11.15am and started our tour after 30 minutes (RM20 per pax).
We decided to have our lunch on the floating restaurant. Nice food, nice environment but I dislike the restroom. You may want to feed the sting ray because they don't have any teeth kaka...And I found my favourite sea urchins. They were cute, aren't they?
After lunch, the boatman took us to have a look of Satun, Thailand border. It will take about 1 hour to reach Satun from Langkawi Island. See the picture below.
Have you ever seen eagles flying up & down with such a close distance? See the picture below. They were hunting food and eventually went back to the forest and stand still.
Wanna see some bats?
Half day mangrove tour done!.....wheeeeee.. After that, we were heading back to hotel for a swim and Italian food as dinner. I dozed off before 12am. It was a tiring & fun day for me.
I was so lazy to wake up at the last day and check out at 12.30pm. We bought boat tickets return to Kuala Kedah port for RM23 per person & departed at 2.30pm. It was quite rush for us because we still need to return our rented car. We just bought KFC for our lunch. See you Langkawi. It was a great trip & most important when you go to Langkawi, make sure you grab their duty free items & chocolates. It was so cheap compare to other places.

Lovely Island Day 1
It's time to have some relaxation at this lovely island. LANGKAWI~!!! I don't kinda like to take boat but I guessed it was cheaper than taking flight, right? Wakey wakey at 8am and drove up to Kepala Batas from Kulim (30mins) to gathered with my friends and headed to Kuala Kedah,(nearly 2 hours). Once arrived, we had our car parked and bought tickets for the speedboat and cost RM23/pax-one way only. I dislike the sea at the Kuala Kedah. Sucks to the max.
We arrived Langkawi Island at 1.30pm and rained heavily. hmmmm not a good day....rented a Vios for RM60 per day (great deal huh) and went for Bak Kut Teh (nyam nyam). We checked in at Asenia Resort around 4pm and went for a swim....The longest swimming pool in Malaysia. Wheeeee.......
We had our dinner at Italian restaurant. No picture for this restaurant..hmm anyway, nice restaurant along Pantai Cenang.
Air tickets to Auckland by Emirates
Although visa has been approved, but it took me about 3 months to decide after comparison prices among the airlines. Finally I bought it and costs me RM1475 by Emirates included food, 30kgs baggage etc.
I couldn't wait to touch down NZ and I still have 8 months to go.....wheeeeee................

Application of New Zealand Working Holiday Visa for Malaysian
I came across New Zealand working holiday visa through my friend. I was thinking why don't I give it a green light since I am still under 30 heh :P. I have been doing research of this working holiday since March 2011 and been waiting anxiously for the Immigration New Zealand to release the quota (1150 persons). I was so nervous since December 2011 because usually they only release the quota at the beginning of January each year.
This year they released on 4th January, 2012. You couldn't imagine how crazy am I keke.. I woke up at 5am (NZ time - 10am) just to grab a place for myself & also Ampo. You must be wondering who is this Ampo, right? Actually she was a friend of mine in facebook and we found each other in the New Zealand working holiday group. We eventually planned to go NZ together but I gave her "747" (aeroplane) keke.

After a few days, everyone getting their visas approved and I was still waiting :(.... and kept me waiting till ........12th January 2012...wakakakaka... (VISA APPROVED!!!) The visa cost me approximately RM350.
Here is the direct link for you to read the requirements before you apply.
www.immigration.govt.nz/migrant/stream/work/workingholiday/malaysiaworkingholidayscheme.htmWhat do you need to prepare before the quota release?
- Make sure your passport valid more than 2 years.
- Credit card for payment (no payment, no visa)
BUT BUT BUT I have a problem with my passport no. (never take the advice from the seniors)... You should renew your passport first before apply this visa. I was supposed to fly in March, 2012 but I postponed it to next year January (of cause before my visa expired date). My passport valid until May, 2013. How am I going to NZ with just 5 months passport validity?
I knew I have to do something. At first, I was in dilemma, asking people around the facebook, emailing INZ Singapore, tried to call INZ SG too but still I couldn't solve my problem. INZ Sg forwarded my email to INZ in NZ and from that day onwards, I emailed my case officer directly with my passport's copy for UPDATING my new passport number in my e-visa, and please email them nicely in your content ya... After 3 days, my new passport number has been updated in my e-visa after 3 months. weehheeee..
